Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have updated our clinic policy for the safety of our clients and staff.

We are now taking appointment-based clients only, and NOT accepting walk-in. Due to limited staffing at our clinic, we no longer offer same-day services or accept walk-ins.

Our doors will be locked during our business hours to control the foot traffic.

 

Please arrive alone for your appointment, as we are limiting the number of people physically entering the clinic. We will be limiting 2 person per household at a time within the clinic.

 

Payment that is currently accepted is debit, credit, or e-transfer.

 

For returning insurance clients, please take a clear photo of your prescription and email it to info@horizonh.ca prior to your appointment. We will then have your paperwork, and products, ready for you at your appointment time. Please let us know if there are any changes to your address, employer, and insurance from your last claim with us. Insurance coverage and policies are subject to change without notice, so it’s best to confirm with your insurance company before claiming if you are unsure. To protect yourself and our staff, we require all clients and staff to wear a face mask during your appointment. We ask you to practice physical distancing during your appointment; keep your distance to at least 2 metres (6 feet), wash or sanitize your hands after touching communal surfaces, avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.

 

If you are feeling unwell, and/or showing systems of COVID-19, we will ask you to reschedule.

 

As of March 25, 2020, Albertans are legally required under public health order to isolate for:

  • 14 days if they returned from international travel or are a close contact of someone with COVID-19
  • 10 days if they have any symptoms that are not related to a pre-existing illness or health condition: cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose or sore throat
